De medsammensvorne i The Celtic Ad-Lib møttes første gang for ti Ã¥r siden rundt et bord fylt til randen av Guinness og assorterte instrumenter paa Finnegan’s Irish Pub i Bergen. Der falt de, som andre før dem over hele verden, hodestups for musikken fra den grønne øya i vest. Udødelige lÃ¥ter som Star of the County Down, Fisherman’s Blues og The Foggy Dew preget seg inn i sinnet og hjertet deres og de ble grepet av en umettelig trang til formidle denne musikkskatten videre.

The accomplices of The Celtic Ad-Lib met for the first time around a table stocked with various musical instruments and countless pints of Guinness in Finnegans Irish Pub located in Bergen, Norway. There they fell, like so many before them, head over heels in love with the music from the green isle on the eastern edge of the great Atlantic ocean. Immortal songs like Star of the County Down, Fisherman’s Blues og The Foggy Dew were etched into their hearts and minds and filled them with an irresistable urge to pass on this musical treasure to audiences hungry for rootsy, heartfelt and toetapping tunes.
