About Me

Dovinia is a creative offspring of what used to be called Corona Borealis.Dovinia is a project without a focus. It is a white canvas on which different dots and whatnots tend to come together to form something not entirely unlike music which the members of the duo actually enjoy. We are currently closer than ever to actually starting to work on our little garage studio, a project which has been put off for some years due to the fact that Kristian always tend to spend way to much of the needed savings on studio gear instead of the actual studio...When encouraged Kathrine sings and plays vielle, flutes, dulcimer, bass, dobro, percussion and whatever else might be at hand. Kristian is currently absorbed in befriending his new celtic harp, but in bright moments of hillarious enthusiasm he might pick up a lute, electric and accoustic guitars, bass, percussion, flutes, bombardes, hurdy-gurdies, keyed fiddles, saz, bouzouki, electronic gadgets, bells, whistles and yes, even bagpipes - just for the hell of it.
