"Rushing"
I'm late, you're late
We're all running late
for life, and everyone
is scampering, stumbling
without brakes or pause
to think or doubt
you might not make it
Where does this time come from
that wings objectify
a moment and it's loss
An arm catches a bus
and standing statue-like
in a museum of faces
the world goes by
in streaks of color
like finger paintings
blurring into murals
passing
passing
passing us by

My favorite Ghandi quote:
"Live as if you were to die tomorrow,
Learn as if you were to live forever."
"...icicles dangle from limbs
like feathered wings of angels"
from Absinthia @ Tangented Mind
"Whats your name?"
"Agnes," I lie to him.
What does it matter if he knows my name... Agnes seems real to him.
from Save Agnes @ Tangented Mind
I am a dreamer, but I'm also a realist.
