I am an actress/producer/singer/entrepreneur. Over the past 2 years, I have reconnected with my Italian heritage and culture, made some amazing friends and started SINGING again.In December of 2005, I developed a forum for Italian Americans to network, create and explore our heritage, music and culture keep alive our traditions. I formed a chapter of a national organziation and we call ourselves the OSIA CENTENNIAL LODGE.
Currently, I am the PRESIDENT. Our mission is to create a voice for the Italian American actors, artists, screenwriters, poets, playwrights, musicians, singers/songwriters, visual artists, sculptors and all artists and art forms. We have produced several staged readings of plays, a few singer/songwriters showcases and more recently will curate an art show.
In 2007 we have some exciting events planned to celebrate our newly formed Italian American ARTISTIC COMMUNITY. Something that no one has ever done here in NYC. Our "lodge" (no we don't wear raccoon hats just yet, but we do don regalia) In conjuction with good friend, Bob Leone, we produced a kick ass musical celebration of all IA singer/songwriters at the Cutting Room, this past June; this was our second showcase of Italian talent and boy was it amazing!More recently, I've been performing live and being on stage again singing has been incredible. I am so grateful to be able to touch the hearts and spirits of people. Making people smile and hearing the familiar applause has enlightened my soul. Thanks to all my friends and fans who support me.
