AreYouVeda – not to be confused with Ayurveda – isn't only about music. AreYouVeda wants to show people that what you can see and hear isn't necessarily what you do see and hear. The song of a crane, for example, doesn't have to come from the beak of a crane. It could be emanating from a loudspeaker. Or a cassette recorder. AreYouVeda, what else is it? AreYouVeda plays with the clichés of the world of pop and the media.
But the best thing is, AreYouVeda is not a sect, it simply keeps you healthy. It is derived from Ayurveda, the Indian teaching of health and healing. And like Ayurveda, AreYouVeda is all about human health. It focuses on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects that keep you healthy. Veda, by the way, could be translated as “knowledge” and originally means “to have seen the truth”. Are you with it? AreYouVeda?

Bei AreYouVeda – nicht zu verwechseln mit Ayurveda – geht es nicht nur um die Musik. AreYouVeda will den Menschen zeigen, dass das, was man sieht und hört, nicht immer das ist, was man sieht und hört. Zum Beispiel muss der Gesang eines Kranichs nicht unbedingt aus dem Schnabel eines Kranichs stammen. Er könnte auch einem Lautsprecher entsprungen sein! Oder einem Kassettenrecorder! Was ist AreYouVeda noch? AreYouVeda spielt mit den Klischees aus der Pop- und Medienwelt.
Aber das beste: AreYouVeda ist keine Sekte, AreYouveda macht gesund! Denn AreYouVeda leitet sich von der indischen Heilslehre Ayurveda her. Wie bei Ayurveda geht es auch bei AreYouVeda um die menschliche Gesundheit. Es geht um die physischen, mentalen, emotionalen und spirituellen Aspekte, die einen Menschen gesund machen. Veda heisst übrigens soviel wie „Wissen“ und bedeutet in seinem Ursprung „Die Wahrheit gesehen haben“. Alles kapiert? AreYouVeda?
