FUSE GREEN - Visual Strategist-DJ Brooklyn, NY -Fuse Green, High Point, N.C. native son, began his professional career at the age of 15, creating political cartoons and spot illustrations for local newspapers. He moved to Atlanta in 1993 to further develop his talent at the Art Institute of Atlanta. Within a few years he began working as an art director for an ad agency and developed campaigns for Coke, Sprite, Minute Maid, and Lugz. While working on commercial projects, Fuse maintained his subculture influence through Frank 151 magazine and Atlantas underground arts scene. In fall 2000, Ecko Unltd. recruited Fuse as one of their newest creative directors/designers landing him in NYC. His work developed an enormous reputation and became synonymous with soul-cial/political culture. Having created several successful seasons for Ecko, PNB Nation, and Rocawear to name a few, He developed his own lifestyle brand Wheat Bread with Atlanta based partners GTM. Since its launch in 2003, Wheat Breads retail presence has grown from the prestigious Fred Segal in L.A. to Prohibit in Tokyo with a celebrity following. Music is a huge influence in my work Fuse explains. Thats sort of what the name is about, fusing music and visuals together. His recent clients include: TBS, Truth, Current TV, Ubiquity Records, J.
