Band Members: FYI-the track, "98" is a solo bass piece by me. "Virgil" is a Russ Lossing composition, he is on paino and Jeff Williams is on the drums for this one (check out www.russlossing.com for more info)..."Ciao Monkey" is one of my tunes, played by Michael Attias sax and Satoishi Takeishi on drums (check out www.michaelattias.com for more info). The other track is "Resin" which is a tune of mine played by Jurgen Friedrich on piano and Tony Moreno on drums. This recording was just released...Enjoy!
Influences: People that have influenced me or continue to do so are the many musicians that I have had the good fortune to have played with over the past few years....most of whom are great friends as well. Check these people out if you have not already...Andrew Hill, Russ Lossing, Michael Attias, Satoishi Takeishi, Adam Kolker, John O'Gallagher, Henry Hey, Dave Scott, Rich Perry, Tony Malaby, Ralph Alessi, Nasheet Waits, Tony Moreno, Jurgen Friedrich, Michael Atkins, Mat Maneri, Marc Mommaas, Jeff Williams...etc...I can't list everybody but you get the picture. It is sort of like recieving an award and trying to name everyone you would like to thank, there is just no way....oh, I almost forgot my parents, they would kill me if I didn't mention them.
