You are Strength

Courage, strength, fortitude. Power not arrested in the act of judgement, but passing on to further action, sometimes obstinacy.

This is a card of courage and energy. It represents both the Lion's hot, roaring energy, and the Maiden's steadfast will. The innocent Maiden is unafraid, undaunted, and indomitable. In some cards she opens the lion's mouth, in others she shuts it. Either way, she proves that inner strength is more powerful than raw physical strength. That forces can be controlled and used to score a victory is very close to the message of the Chariot, which might be why, in some decks, it is Justice that is card 8 instead of Strength. With strength you can control not only the situation, but yourself. It is a card about anger and impulse management, about creative answers, leadership and maintaining one's personal honor. It can also stand for a steadfast friend.

Movies:

All of the Star Wars movies......Lord of the Rings, X-Men, Fantastic Four...(can you see that I am sort of an adventure buff here?) Indy Jones movies..Elvis flicks....horror movies....the occasion chick flick...(if it is an Indie) Lost In Translation was my favorite....IFC is my favorite movie channel..Oh yeah.Borat! For Your Consideration, Marie Antoinette, 24 Hour Party People Warren Miller films..basically anything with some depth!

Television:

CNN 360 with Anderson Cooper...(this is where the news junkie side of me comes in) CSI/the original,The Today Show, 60 Minutes, (yeah, I've got that smart geek chik thing goin' on).....and any horror movie that may be on tv. Pimp My Profile

Books:

Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire..(yes, I like this series!) Toni Morrison-Sula, Bode Miller-Be Fast, Be Good and Have Fun. Finished the Da Vinci Code, It reminds me of my trips to Paris. I also read alot on metaphysical studies, and other subjects involving the entertainment and music industry. The occasional pulp fiction book is good on those long road trips too.

Heroes:

my dad...he was in radio in boston for over 40 years and had shown me how to do it right....and to kick ass and steal share....Carl deSuze...my dad..my inspiration....and had class...thanks. May the Goddess be with you always
