I have been in the local scene for years now both as a promoter and performer. To say that I know everybody just might not be an understatement....lol. If I am adding you as a friend it is because I want YOUR BAND!!! I have every Wednesday night in 2007 to book at the DOVER BRICKHOUSE. These nights will be 3 band bills and will feature on a weekly basis the BEST in local Rock, Hard Rock, Hardcore, and Heavy Metal. We need EVERYONE THERE IN FULL FORCE. This is the only way to ignite the fuse and blow up the Dover music scene and that is exactly what I am trying to do. I am also the lead singer in a band myself so I remember what is was like to be down in the trenches trying to get ANYBODY to come to my shows but that is YOUR JOB as a musician to do that. If you are in one of those bands that think you are "the shit" and that you "deserve" the best time slot, or "deserve" a guaranteed payment for a 1/2 hour set of originals, or your bandmates are lazy fucks that won't self promote or pre sell some tickets (because that is beneath you) ummm? Then go fuck yourselves and don't bother us. Stay in your local town and play the ash tray bar and billiards so you can feel like rock stars and flaunt around the same bar sluts like you are Van Halen circa 1979. In case someone hasn't told you lately......there is no world tour bus coming to pick you up....you are a local ORIGINAL band...and your gay ego will get you no where. This is a make your own paycheck kind of situation. Untill this fuse is lit these are Low/No Pay shows. We'll try to give everyone $40-$50 in gas money, but it will depend on attendance. More $$$ if attendance is good. If we can do this I promise you it will be an experience not soon forgotten. I am also booking two Thursdays a month at the Brickhouse to use as alt rock, indie, pop, punk or acoustic nights. Anything that isnt being represented on a Wednesday will be featured here.
