NOW IS THE TIME

About Me

A new year and i'm still here. TreZure...she's her own creation. Like James Brown said he had to create himself to survive..that's how I do. I decided very early in my life that I was not a follower. I want to do my own thing, I want to sing my music, despite whether it is soul, afrobeat, bossa nova, cantos, jazz or even if i care to rhyme I'ma do it. I would like to be able to sing in 8 languages now, and I shall, ASE. I am my business. I prepare and teach music history of the Diaspora lessons to children during the day, and try to write, perform or record in the evenings. I wanna be more like Pac with my work ethic though. Not for nothing but I am a star. I shine, come to a show, you'll see. But I do it on my terms, even if it takes longer. I'd rather sing my music a long time on some low key and be a legend than an A list celebrity any day. And I will be...I believe everything I want for myself and my people I can create. I know I come from generations that were never as able and secure as I am blessed to be. Don't get it wrong, I struggle for myne...but it ain't no thing on me. This music is me. All day everyday I deal in music, I sing music I dream of music, stages I will soon see. I am sure. It is my time. Free MySpace Layouts by Iron Spider
