Coffee-I think coffee is my most favorite thing. I need it, I love it, I depend on it. I like to read, especially in a bubble bath with a glass of wine. I am completely content snuggled up on the couch watching a movie on a Saturday night, but every so often I like to get all prettied up and get my freak on. I love just hanging out with my kids. They are some of the best people I know. Bully breeds, the best dogs that were ever created with the most undeserved reputations. I love my four legged babies. I have a particular fondness for kid's meal toys and have an extensive collection that I keep in the bottom drawer of my desk at work.
I really like people, so I'm very open to meeting anyone.
What I like in music changes all the time. I usually have a current obsession that I listen the shit out of until I can't stand it anymore. Beyond AC/DC, you will just have to ask me.
Movies are about the escape factor, and if I want to have my mind expanded, I'll catch up on my reading. French Kiss, Empire Records, Sixteen Candles, Singles, The Wedding Crashers (I loved that one!) Grosse Point Blank, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Wayne's World, So I Married at Axe Murderer. (Gotta love Mike Meyers.) I will watch just about anything if it's playing at the Overland Park Theater were I can watch the movie and have my Diet Coke and popcorn for $3.50! Did I mention that I'm a cheap ass? I just saw Little Miss Sunshine, and I think that may be one of the best movies ever.
I actually don't own one, and it's a good thing. Oh geez..this is really aweful, but my taste in TV shows is completely white trash. I watch court TV. I have seen coutless episode of Maury (who's my baby's daddy) Povitch. The Tyra show is the absolute worst, and I can't help myself. It's like watching a trainwreck. Extreme Home Makeover makes me sob-not just cry-SOB. Nanny 911, Trading Spouses, I'm hopeless. Basically if it has no value and it's on, I will be sucked in with it's life bleeding tractor beams. This is why I don't have television.
Let's do authors first. George Elliot, George MacDonald, JD Robb, Charles Dickens, Jane Austin (I really don't know how many times I've read Pride and Prejudice.) Sue Grafton, Patricia Cornwell, CS Lewis. Some favorite books-Adam Bede, The Ha-Ha, Bonita Faye, The Blood and the Gold. I will stop there for now.
I prefer sheroes. My mom and Klissy, my sister and my daughter, strong amazing individuals that I am proud to be related to.
