The Bois of Boise are a long awaited drag king troupe established in 2005 in Boise, Idaho. We currently consist of five members: Kelly as Kraven Lefleur; Nancy as Nan King as Jim Beam, Chic, Vanilla Hammer; Becca as Dick Smitten; VAN as Johnny Knockers; Erin as Aaron Idahomo. We have played in front of audiences at the Balcony, the Emerald Club, the Visual Arts Collective, the Neurolux, Piazza de Vino, and the Big Easy. We have also performed for Boise Pride 2006,2007 and 2008, Stardust Lounge, Democratic party fundraisers, Idaho Votes No campaign fundraiser, at Boise State University, University of Idaho, Washington State University, and have been seen on Logo and in Curve magazine. We have also performed with local hip hop artist Kritik, the hip hop artists God-des and She, Nicky Click, Scream Club, and the drag queen troupe Seven Minutes sisters and Minerva Jayne.
