Very frustrating, that they don't keep it going. Sometimes some songs are too long, need clipping, for pizzaz. Sometimes its like a painting, when its been overworked. Ditto, for some songs and music. and with thanks to Whitney, Boofydog, Teensmum, Nanouk, JenIris, Cyn & Lyrical and others - may blessings fall upon you :) Guy Sebastian and Olivia Newton John with "Summer Nights" (at present Guy is so busy everywhere that its hard to catch all the venues/shows) GUY SEBASTIAN w. Undertones of the Beatles perhaps? Guy Sebastian's amazing TV performance on Channel 9 Today show of (Sittin in)The Dock Of the Bay Feb. 08. While the audio here isn't perfect (it was on TV however,) check that resonance and rich vocal quality GUY SEBASTIAN and the fabulous Mr GARY PINTO, 2006 free-styling "Let's Stay Together" and having FUN! Taken with just a handheld camera, it just shows what a talented pair these two artists are! At the moment, my favourite performance by Guy of this song. As he evolves, and goes with the song and the music, I expect more performances will become my favourite. Hot Fuzz!!! (good grief, thought this was gonna be like an Agatha Christie movie! how many 40gallon drums of tomato sauce did they use? I can't believe I laughed so much, in the middle of such much mayhem!)
Okay, TV? Time Team, Grand Designs, Talking Heads, Rove, want a good variety show around 8.30pm please, with GOOD music and bands (not necessarily top 40 bands - the 2 things do not always go together), Loved It Takes Two with Guy, didn't have time this year, DWTS is good sometimes. Thank God You're Here, Spicks & Specks - we look at TV when we feel like it (except for the 2 1stnamed), Sunrise but we work, Antique Roadshow, ABC LOTS because they're quirky & interesting. Oh and So You Think you Can Dance! Love that one. But some of the choreographers bring the downfall of good dancers and that realllllly sux. And I find that pretty unforgiveable, because it does unfort. mean that some dancers start their session behind the 8ball.
