Among the scores of MC’s out there, finding a duo with the complete package (blazing lyrical skills, marketable image) is a difficult task. The only two Mc’s who fits the bill in Australia is Kato Sage and J.D. Together they are D.O.M.E (Diplomats of Musical Electronics)
Coming from different group and musical backgrounds, two longtime friends KATO SAGE and J.D formed together to create D.O.M.E in early months of 2008...Inspired by legendary artists such as Lupe Fiasco, Jay-Z and other hip-hop icons whose appeal lies not only with their unrivalled mic talent but their magnetic personas, D.O.M.E began working on the first EP, experimenting with rhyme and developing their craft gradually. Completing it in October 2008 they both began performing live, earning instant respect from enthusiastic crowds addicted to their new Mash Up - influenced style and local sensibilities.
Currently working on their debut album with the streets and clubs abuzz with anticipation, the future’s looking bright for the artists whose international hip-hop potential is a first for Australia.
