I won't resign before The Struggle ends so I'll construct this Sound Defense!

About Me

http://ffrf.org
For my most recently added friends, I'll say a few things about myself. My wife and I have been married for 4+ years. We have a nice house and three cats.
I sang in the church choir in my gradeschool years and in chorus class during my time at college. Our college group even toured Mazatlan!
I like travel, but long flights make me wish my long legs came off. I've spent time in Guinea - West Africa, Perth - Australia, Mazatlan - Mexico, and briefly touched ground in Mauritania, Malaysia, Japan and France. We also had a couple days in Amsterdam!
I like biking, on my recumbent, a stationary exercise bike, or mountain bikes. I wish my knees liked it more. I like photography, although my camera is old and too big to fit in my pocket. (Also, it is NOT a phone!)
I collect music. This began with 45RPM records, evolved into 8-tracks, tapes, cds. I traded music over the internet when we had to use the post office and tapes!
I love shopping thrift stores more than the mall. I like trying to fix something before I replace it. I like craigslist and freecycle, and used book stores.
If you wanna know more, ask!

Hey George Walker Bush, !!!!!!!

Thanks to Billy Bragg this might be a place worth sticking around. Of course that doesn't speak for the many I've heard/seen who are flocking to facebook from here like it's the titanic.

Here's a few good old-fashioned rants: Thanks to pioneers of the art form such as Lenny Bruce, Denis Leary, George Carlin, Bill Maher and even Dennis Miller.
American 'football' is a crime against humanity. Take off all those pussy pads and play...then I might watch. Other countries know a good thing when they see it, and don't fuck it all up with pads and whistles and other stupidity. Rugby, soccer...those are man's games.

Milk is for cows. Cheese is mold. The dairy industry is a paramilitary cabal devoted to extinguishing human life through the thickening of mucus. I strongly urge anyone reasonably certain they are NOT a cow to refuse the dairy industry's campaign to get you to consume their products.
Raspberries and strawberries are nature's candy. Weather permitting, I grow them in my own backyard.
Asian food rawks, fresh sprouts make it nice, but no bamboo.
Peanut BUTTER M&Ms...awwyeah.
Cashews r yummy.
Jaegermeister shots will shut up any barroom braggard.
I m cookiemonster.
Cranberry juice and lemonade make life worth living.
Lemonade is _NOT_ pink!
i wouldn't pour pepsi on a forest fire.
Chocolate congests me, but I ingest it often anyway.
Coconut gives me a headache.
Bananas r yucky; apples r laxatives.
Raisins are not food; they are compost.
Nuts do not belong in chocolate. Peanut M&Ms = icky.
Chunky peanut butter is disgusting.
Nuts DO NOT belong in cookies. Peanut Butter cookies have fully-processed peanuts in them, NOT ANY whole or partial nuts. Those go in PEANUT cookies.
fuck $ony, fuck micro$oft, and buck fu$h...

flipping the bird to all Hummers and H2s...along with vans, putdown trucks, and SUVs!

I can give you 4 or 5 of them..." - M. Doughty

Take ya footballs and stick it up ya ass..." - Kool Keith

Books:

I really like Jonathan Lethem, Piers Anthony, Stephen King, Spider Robinson and Laurell K. Hamilton. I pay pretty close attention to them. I read John Grisham sometimes. Dan Savage's columns are usually laugh-out-loud funny, occasionally educational, and always entertaining. Peter David writes for comics mostly, but his novels are okay too. Cory Doctorow gets me excited about sci-fi/fantasy again!
