About Me

Here's the short skinny on the story of my musical life. I came from a town that was made to break out of. At age 16 I left my lawless friends behind and headed West in search of... (still searching) After a few years of bad directions I landed in the city of angels and joined a rock band, The Geraldine Fibbers. The music and times were dark and beautiful with a dose of insanity. We toured the world and learned alot about love and life. That crazy three-year long party had to end, so I moved to Minneapolis to chill out and start my own band. I've had the good fortune of finding amazing people to join my band as well as being asked to play violin with a variety of great musicians. Thanks to Wilco, The Jayhawks, R.E.M., Soul Asylum, The Minus 5 and others for giving me a spot on their stage. I recently released my debut solo record, "Blue Sky". There's a few tracks from that record on my website, www.jessygreene.com, and a few tracks off my new record, "a demon and her lovers" right here on myspace. I hope you can find the time to sample and enjoy them! There's much more madness to tell but my short attention span has reached it's limit. To be continued... CLICK HERE TO GET A PRE-MADE LAYOUT
