The name 'Matre D' was given to him when he was about three years old from his mother and her friends. Ever since Nick could speak he did; and never stopped. He was always the one to keep the mood high and people together in conversation. It was an easy choice for his career name. Since his goal has become to follow the path provided, he choses to be a maitre d' and serve it to you with an open hand.
Nobody can be perfect. We must live in common as followers of the One who is.
Matre D is versitile. He switches his flow up more than babies do diapers. For some reason, people think that he can only do one kind of music. It's about time to break that up and bring in some truth! Why shouldn't he give you something to groove to that isn't about the same old ish on the radio. Matre D loves giving back to friends and fans so if you've got love, you can expect to get some back.
From the artist: The last thing i would ever want is to represent someone that I'm not. I heard that Brother Ali said that a lot of rappers shouldn't be rapping. I couldn't agree more. All I have to say is that if you're fake, you have nothing to say. Never stop questioning, but listen with intent of truth.
