About Me

i quit my day job in 1996 to pursue playing bass. i've been very inspired by the scene in minneapolis and have been fortunate to work with great musicians. along the way i've developed a love for music from around the world - especially afro-cuban music.
i also love food and wine and find the food scene here inspiring as well. in fact, one night while playing a gig at a coffee cafe in excelsior i had a strong feeling about how cool that place could be if i were the owner. a couple years later i heard it was for sale and now, along with my cousin, i'm the owner! we've since opened a restaurant in waconia and we've got our sights set on a third spot. needless to say, life has changed. gone are the 6 nights a week playing in bars and gone are the days of logging endless miles touring when i'd rather be home.
the greatest event thus far though is the birth of my daughter, Evelyn. there's no way to convey that kind of love. I'm so lucky to have my wife, Molly and daughter, Evelyn in my life.
...it inspires me to new levels.
