Myspace Comments |My son asked me tonight why I always change my video, and I told him I really don't do so all that often. And then he asked me why I hadn't had this one up for a while... good question. Sometimes kids come up with just what is needed. Including the awesome drawings he made for me;) Thank you, my little Crapping-Corn;p

My Interests

animals, weather, geography, astronomy, spirituality, the social sciences, gardening, home renovating, straw and dome houses, tall ceilings for long scarves to fly .., playing with glue, photography/art, the way my armpits smell, carving wood, burning wood at a campsite, backpacking, survival, conspiracies, howling, costume design/ sewing, books, power tools, little airplanes, seeing the extraordinary in the ordinary, bungee cords, hiking, the aurora, ghosts and spirits, dis-ease and healing, canoeing, trying to get lost, seeing the signs, bending metal, stringing beads, feeling the blood rush to my head, discussing the laws of gravity on a pogo stick, dancing when no one is watching, and most definately being with my family.

I'd like to meet:

learners and teachers, people who create, people who will sing my favorite songs with me. Ones who like to sit and chat and ones who like to jump up and play. And most definately my RAA peeps....

Music:

Ryan Adams & The Cardinals, Damien Jurado, Mercury Rev, The Replacements, Rise Against, NOFX, Leonard Cohen, Madeline Peyroux, PJ Harvey, Bjork, System of the Down, Flogging Molly, Massive Attack, Portishead, David Bowie, Bob Marley, Bright Eyes, Cat Power, Lucinda Williams, The Delgados, Mazzy Star, Tom McRae, Blonde Redhead, The Verve, Beck, Sisters of Mercy, UB40, Tori Amos, Superchunk, Sonic Youth, Sarah McLachlin, Enigma, Interpol, Modest Mouse, Breaking Benjamin, Joe Strummer, The Clash, Hazel O'Connor, Firewater, Stereophonics, Cirque du Soleil, drum circles, and the occasional old metal, pop, punk, hip hop, folk, disco for the sake of temporary nostalgic insanity.

Movies:

Blood Diamond, Freedom Writers, Water, Memoires of a Geisha, Hotel Rwanda, American History X, American Beauty, Dancer in the Dark, Pay it Forward, Dances With Wolves, Benny & June, Untamed Heart, First Knight, Hair, Mary Poppins, Brother Bear, Flatliners, Twister, Backdraft, Dead Poets Society, What About Bob?, Shakespeare in Love, Man of La Mancha, Gorillas in the Mist, Nightmare Before Christmas, Dirty Dancing, Lord of the Rings

Books:

I like to read a lot, but I don't have a lot of time so I fall asleep and it takes me forever to get through a book. But I love Richard Bach, James Alexander Thom, Deepok Chopra, The Celestine series, A Walk in the Woods was both informative and hilarious, so was some book called The Builders Secret.. both brought me to tears I laughed so hard. Like some kiddie books too; some are very cool. And there's one called Prince Ombra that is a simple write, but it makes the world look very different; that book changed my life many years ago. When the Comet Runs freaked my shit and I've been paranoid ever since. However.. I probably was even before I read it cuz well.. I picked it out, ya see. Oh and there is Ken Carrey.. holy fuck. Starseed Transmissions and Return of the Bird Tribes. Nothing is ordinary.. no such thing as ordinary. Now I'm gushing so yea.. just rambling now.

Heroes:

Big C Dawg, my siblings and friendly-family, people who fight with swords that only cut away the webs that hold them back, people who sing with their soul, the fool who jumps off the cliff into the unknown.
