After years of classical and operatic training, Alicia became one half of an electronica duo called nullStatic, singing Bjork, Radiohead and Portishead covers, as well as some creative original tunes. Following two years of performing and recording in Kingston ON, it was time for Alicia to branch out to a new venture of her own. Her debut solo performance was at the Queen's Grad Club, opening for Martina Sorbara. The show was a hit, and Alicia's solo career had officially begun. Alicia's newer material echoes the earlier influences of her life, such as Sarah McLachlan, Chantal Kreviazuk, Lauryn Hill and Faith Evans, as well as Motown greats like Aretha Franklin and Gladys Knight and the Pips.

Since then, Alicia has performed at other venues in Kingston, including opening for Madviolet at The Grad Club, and has recently moved back to her home in Toronto, where she performs regularly at venues such as The Free Times Cafe, The Smiling Buddha, The Cameron House, Clinton's, Holy Joe's and others. Her 2004 Demo Release showcases a sample of what Alicia has in store, and she is excited to be back in the studio, working on a full-length album which she hopes to release in the New Year.
