I'd like to meet:

Donny Hathaway, John Coltrane and Barack Obama. Oh yeah, George Bush too... it's the only way to get close enough to choke him! One of the world's hottest spoken word & live music events goes down monthly right here in Los Angeles... for 5 years and running! This is NOT your neighborhood open mic! If you're not one of the thousands that have already attended - NOW YOU KNOW!!

Music:

Soul, Neo-Soul, Blues, Straight Ahead Jazz, Alternative Rock, Hip-Hop. I don't listen to the radio much these days, I've got way to many talented friends making incredible music so my CD case is filled with mostly underground, up and coming artists like Chris Pierce, 4th Avenue Jones and Amanda Dumas.

Heroes:

Folks that do good things anonymously. People who accept the challenge to attempt to change the world thousands at a time. My Father. My Mother.
