I have far to many interests to list but... I will try to think of a few of them. Hmmmm...I love to read! I love music (all except country)! My greatest wish would be to move out west, somewhere near the four corners region would be perfect. I Love the Beach, Flowers, Animals (especially mine), just anything pertaining to nature makes my heart grow. Gardening, Photography, Art Museums, Stage Plays, and Food with Flavor! Volleyball, Softball, Canoeing, Camping and Hiking. I can cook (boy, can I cook!) and love it but never ask me to bake goodies cuz you won't like the outcome (somehow I'll mess it up.). I appreciate both the Science and Medical fields, Philosophy and Religion in Cultures and Societies also peak my interest. I enjoy Mythology and Ancient History, Poetry, Decorating and Crafting. My ABC Soaps (*chuckles*), Wish Shopping (catalogs and store window displays)& Ebay keep me sane! Traveling somewhere new is always so exciting! **phew***, thats plenty for the moment. I'll think of more later.
Winter Time!
Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!
Well, I think most famous people are over-paid and over-rated! The people who make the most valuable contributions to this country are extremely under-paid (teachers, caregivers, soldiers, manual laborers, etc...). The folk whose backs this country was really built on! There exists an extreme minority (only 2% of them left) in this country, who happen to be a totally unappreciated group. Without the fruits of their service, we as consumers will find ourselves in the future wishing we had nurtured their talents. That minority is our FARMERS! Suffice it to say, I don't care to meet any more rich and famous or over indulgent people. One day we'll all hunt for the people with the green thumbs and green tractors! This nation loves food!
The Plight of the Farmer!
While we should honor and respect the differences in each of us, to garishly reward some that appear to have more considerable gifts than those whose talents are less exposed, seems almost criminal in the grand scheme of things. I ask these questions...What or when is too much? What is forfeited to achieve such grandiose heights? and finally, at the end of your lives, Was it worth it and what monument will you have left behind in all of your so-called greatness as testimony? I believe we are all responsible for making our little corner of the world - a better place - in whatever way possible and can only hope that I have contributed, to the best of my ability, something worthwhile, even if it is never known to another soul, as long as it resonates in the world. We should think of all that we do as echoes.
I think it would have been interesting to have met those (people) who made profound changes in society. True free-thinkers. Those who never conformed or compromised their principles, and those who altered lives and history. I would love to ask them a few questions and wouldn't it be a trip to get a glimpse of how life would be without their ideas and ideologies.
This country is experiencing changes. What we will be left with in the end game is anybodies guess, but if you don't pay attention (have you noticed all of our jobs being farmed out to other countries) and make an attempt to do something (like vote or be an active voice), it may come back to kick you in the ass! Please, make a difference before it is too late for regrets. Sometimes the smallest voice can start an avalanche.

I am a dreamer of lands far and near. I have visited many places in the USA and Canada, (when I was healthy) but have never left this continent. I have dreamt of traveling when I couldn't leave the bed for months at a time. It helped to keep my sanity. Now that I am back in the pink (so to speak)... who knows maybe I will take up travel again.

Everyone loves action, horror, thrillers, dramas and comedy, and while some think one type stands out above others, I like them all. I love so many different types of movies. I guess I am not very picky as long as they have some kind of substance to them but truth be told, I have a special thing for Football movies. "Remember the Titans", "Varsity Blues", "Friday Night Lights", "Rudy", "The Replacements", "Wildcats", "The Program", "Any Given Sunday", "Invincible", "Heaven Can Wait", and while not the right sport, "Happy Gilmore" is my all time favorite! I think "Mighty Ducks can be put alongside of "Happy Gilmore" for hilarity. Good laughs there. Murderball and "A League of their Own" are 2 special favorites. Braveheart and "Rob Roy" top my history favorites among far too many to list. I have a penchant for
musicals and old movies (black & whites too!). And last, but certainly not least, movies that have an underlying statement like "V is for Vendetta, or "Equilibrium". I think that will do for now!
Heroes, LOST, Bones, House, Ghost Whisperer, Medium, E.R., The O.C. (gone but not forgotten), Prison Break, C.S.I., Grey's Anatomy, Numbers, Friday Night Lights, Law & Order S.V.U. and C.I, Criminal Minds, Without A Trace, Star Trek DS9, Smallville, Alias, The Unit and N.C.I.S.
I love to read, so I read anything I can put my eyes on! This includes other people's newspapers, cereal boxes, magazines and such. (while they are reading them.) Sometimes this must be done upside-down. Poaching like this can be irksome indeed because I read quite fast, thus I am forced to wait for the pages to finally turn. (arggghh!!!) Lol
There are a few authors whose name when crossed with "new title" will cause me to rush out and buy, buy,BUY with mad frenzied reckless abandon as soon as I find out that another freshly released book has been spewed from the parsimonious publishing pits.
Jacqueline Carey's "Kushiel Series", George R.R. Martin's "Song of Ice and Fire series" (Pssst!...Winter is coming!), Diana Gabaldon's "Outlander series", Robert Jordan's "Wheel of Time series", Mary Stewart's "The Crystal Cave Series" and James Rollins, who can write one hell of a good read if you need to kill some time. His "Amazonia" was great, as well as all his others! Those are, to name but a mere few, my favorites. Fantasy is like an adult fairytale to me and can take you to places wondrous and unknown. What a wonderful path to diversion/immersion! I enjoy many other types of reading but SF/F is my get-away vehicle of choice. (My personal ultimate pick would be to just move into a bookstore/library and set-up house.) Last, but not least, we mustn't forget Dr. Suess and Uncle Shelby! The Gods of Rhyme and Nonsense. Whom without, well... life on this planet would be a little less tolerable.
My Mom, whose heart and love are immeasurable, much like the oceans & my sweetheart, whose love is boundless and pure. Both of them have such generous souls. They never cease to amaze me. My children, who astound me with their adventurous spirits and endless drive. Last but never least, my Gramma, I miss her! She was the keystone in our family. What she has left behind in us will be standard for generations to come.
And I will forever be grateful to the... !
Whom without, my climb up and out of fibro hell would have been an impossible feat!

Baby, what's your sign? (Celtic Zodiac)
You were born in the month of the Oak. The Oak was the principal sacred tree of the Druids, symbolizing truth and steadfast knowledge as well as the turning of the year. In general, Oak individuals are enterprising people with a refreshing breadth of vision. They are determined, self-motivated, enthusiastic and responsible. Possessed with a high degree of personal magnetism, Oaks make for natural leaders with a great deal of integrity and find it easy to attract and inspire others. Although serious-minded, Oak people are cheerful and optimistic by nature, with a keen sense of humor that can make the best of a difficult situation. Being optimists (sometimes blindly so), they do not give up easily and are unafraid to speak the truth in any given situation, regardless of the consequences. Deeply philosophical, they are generous friends but are prone to exagerrate and are inclined toward vanity. It is important that Oak individuals learn to temper pride with humor or they may become pompus and overbearing. They enjoy life's confrontations and make for formidable enemies, but can be naive in the manner in which they place trust in others, especially concerning affairs of the heart. Often, Oak people set standards in love that are too difficult for partners to attain and they place great importance in moral issues.
