I was born a poor white girl from the Ghettos of Hellwaukee HellsConSin (Milwaukee Wisconsin a.k.a HELL) I lived on the cusp of Lake Michigan where bitter cold ruled the earth. I froze my butt off most of my life while resenting the wrath of Mother Nature.
I spent most of my life with hardcore Green Bay Packer fans aka cheese heads, brats soaked in beer on every grill in the summer, mosquitos were the state bird, Friday fish frys were a religious event, Miller beer worshiped on a regular basis, beer guts where a fashion statement, heavy metal was law, white trash was king, and a whole lot of wannabees who wished they were L.A.
I am a very non-emotional person who doesnt like to deal with bullshit and doesnt have the patience for it.I don't really like to drink alcohol unless the mood is right.I moved out of the midwest in 2004 and hope to never have to premanently live there again. I love living in Los Angeles it is an awesome place to be. Never a dull moment and always something to do.
I try to avoid people who want to intentionally screw up my sense of inner peace. So if I feel uncomfortable around someone, I will probably avoid them if I can. I dont like violence at all and have no tolerance for people who cant control themselves or their mouth.
I am actually a smart ass most of the time; so don't take me too serious I hate to be serious; although my humor is probably pretty dry and no one gets it most of time. I like people who dont take themselves too serious. I think I am actually a pretty boring person, unless you can bust out with a good joke or a funny story and get me to laugh.
I like to be around people who are cool. And when I say cool, I dont mean you have to look a certain way. You can look whatever way makes you feel like you. I just mean someone who is easygoing, easy to talk to, and doesnt expect the world to revolve around them. Someone who is not always bitchin that life is not going their way, blah blah blah, poor you only thinking about yourself. If your life is not going so good, go help someone who is less fortunate and I guarantee your life will turn around.
Id rather stay home at night then deal with the headache of going out, getting smoke blown in my face, and small talking with drunken people who only care about the way they look. I am not too impressed with material things. I dont care about name brands/ fashion/all that superficial bullshit that goes along with LA mentality.
I believe we are all searching for that feeling of acceptance, trying to compete with everyone, but only competing with ourselves. I would like to meet real people, not puppets out in front of crowds pretending to be stars, wondering who's looking at them, when everyone else is wondering the same. I want to know people for who they are inside, not the big front you see when you're out trying to say hi to every drunk loser you recognize, when actually those people dont give a damn about you, or even know a thing about you.
I feel most comfortable when I am around people who are not trying to prove anything to anyone. So if you think you have something to prove you really don't, no one really gives a shit, only you. Be yourself and dont worry about what other people think, because in the end, those people will mean Absolutely Nothing!
Don't expect everything in life to go your way, chances are most of the time it probably won't. Things that happen in life unplanned are the best stories even the most messed up events or screwed up nights. Turn them into positive things and use them for silly stories, those are the best ones. Maybe at least once in a while you can make fun of yourself and act like a complete fool. If you make a mistake, look at it, or maybe learn something from it or try to figure out what your mistake is really telling you and look at the bigger picture.
Nobody's perfect: Learn to admit that you dont know everything and accept that maybe once in a while someone else does know more than you...and once in a while tell someone THEYRE RIGHT! At least you will have the last word....
