MISS MISERY
December 2004, a few years after Lexx flew to UK powered by
“Old School of Rock’n’Roll”
and the desire to be living on the edge of a shameless and careless Society to achieve his goals surrounded by local rock bands playing the same chords all together with confidence of greatest songwriters and calling themselves the artists who are able to drug the whole Rock History of Britain into a different level, was the year when the band called Miss Misery appeared in West London with a hunger to have a reasonable life and also not to forget about the skill, the band creating the music which was a mixture of the good old traditions of Hard Rock and Metal driven into the modern sounding machine of 2004 Music Market.
Initially there were three people: Lexx Speeded- guitars, vocals; NIG- (aka Nigel Mowles)-bass, MirunGEE- (aka Greg Mirunkiewicz)- drums. After about a year they split then came back together to realize that the magic was not there and the circumstance of different life perspectives sooner or later would kill any inspiration. The inspiration was only hibernating, the music in our veins and MISS MISERY tattooed on our hearts, we are back in the studio. Lexx is always working, writing, producing etc, NIG is writing lyrics for the next MISS MISERY album, MirunGEE has locked himself away searching for that perfect "flam" and "paradiddle". NIG left MM in Spring 2007 and was replaced by Mad-Mad. She brought solid heaviness and power into MM sound.
The first album with “Speededdog” title came out January 2005, written and produced by Lexx and recorded at Pro 2 Studio Belarus, then officially released through Astral Records Australia and Blue Pie Distribution Worldwide in May 2007 followed by "Silicon Angel" multi single and "Dead Famous" compilation CD releases also through Astral Records where "Silicon Angel" song was the opening track. From this moment MISS MISERY music spreads all over the world digitally and physically.
"Speededdog" album gets 3.5 out of 5 grade review by Metal Hammer Poland May 2008.
Present days - heavy touring, writing tons of songs, no time to record. New MISS MISERY album "Blue Book of Filth" is coming out later this year.

The“Speededdog” album is like a knockout punch from Tyson without a boxing glove. It creates awesome energy that explodes across your skull with great thumping rhythm. A clever mix of lyrical pain and frantic fretwork, which drives the music from nightmare to waking. It pulses into painful joy. Here the throbbing pulsation of life going downhill and the powerful introspective in strong positive thrusts.

SILICON ANGEL
It was Summer 2005 when I got a phone call from a friend of mine asking me to produce an album for someone he new. I wasn’t doing much at that time so we agreed to meet the next morning. He turned up with a chick in her twenties dressed in black, with an acoustic guitar, smoking, refusing to eat and drinking coffee non-stop. She was sweet and shy when she talked to me, her black hair was covering a left shoulder full of tattoos. She told me her favourite bands were “Him” and “Marilyn Manson” and it would be good if her songs had a similar sound. The only thing left was to hear her ideas. She started singing.

The songs were catchy which made the whole process easy and enjoyable, her strong and powerful voice was clearly going to allow us to realize the huge potential of the music; it went right through me. She was good. The first song I picked up was “Reason to die”. It was a right choice. Next I needed to find a location for the recording.
A month later we turned up at Town House Studios in Shepherds Bush unprepared trying to generate some magic. As an experiment I decided to write music right there and then I found a name for the project - Silicon Angel and the girl loved it.
After we recorded “Reason to die” and “Coma where you never stay” SA disappeared for a while and then one month later she phoned me and asked not to worry, she’s OK and we’ll continue our work soon. It wasn’t that soon - two months later she phoned me again from abroad just to say that she’s still up for it but we’ve got continue working elsewhere so I had to book a studio in Minsk Belarus to finish an album and we met there in the end of October. We had very productive two and a half weeks writing music for another eleven songs. I remember working so fast that I had to video all my ideas in order not to forget it. Every night after each session I was designing artwork for an album and we had 13 songs of “Frozen” on our hands at the end of November.
From that moment I decided to promote Silicon Angel as my own project, that’s how much I believed in it. After I came back to London (Jan 06) I got all the musicians together at Survival Studios Acton and as soon as we started going through all the songs it sounded so good that I realised that Silicon Angel band was born and every moment of making it happen was worth while.

MINDLOVER
For the past five years Mindlover’s lush, melodic rock / pop has twisted, turned and mutated until it became the shape it is today. The work of four guys, and a lot of supporting players, combining their varied musical backgrounds has not always been easy but the unique sonic blueprint that results is something that could only have come from these guys and that process.
Mindlover are in the throws of completing an EP; you’ll find the quieter side of the band on this page; the new tracks will balance this feel and everything will be taken on the road in the second half of the year under the Speededdog / SAK Music label (look for the press and the listings on this site).
As for the guys - Rich (vocals), Lexx (guitar), Jamie (keys), and Preben (production, guitar) – well, we should let them introduce themselves …
Lexx on Rich: Rich, singer and songwriter likes to coax a song from its rawest state into a polished piece of art; he collects old plastic bags for a hobby because, “they don’t answer back”. His classical roots mean he has sung everywhere from the Mayfair Arts Festival to dodgy back rooms with his feet stuck to the stage. For him it’s all about the notes!
Jamie on Lexx: Lexx is totally described by his musical universe – nothing else comes close. He uses guitars to express this devotion and the guitars don’t seem to mind. Also a talented producer with a great ear he harks from the Russian oil fields, drinks aircraft break fluid to keep warm and thinks England is too small.
Rich on Jamie: Jamie, songs and keys, has a classical background in piano and for Mindlover’s last gig he grew and extra pair of fingers. He’s not like the rest of us, sees life differently and has been slowly slipping off the rails ever since we’ve known him. He says, "Inspiration is not something you're born with; my music is the sound of who I am now; inspiration is as transitory as us”. He’s been known to write some of his best stuff on the back of other people’s underwear – like the quote above for example.
Preben on himself: tall, blonde, square dancing Scandinavians don’t usually find themselves lost for partners – and this one’s no exception. Mindlover’s chemistry is very strong and I guess I’m the guy in the lab coat stoking up the Bunsen Burner; it all comes through me before it reaches you and you’re in safe hands because … I’ve won awards, me.
