About Me

My name is Florida Evans. I am married to my high school sweetheart, James and we have three beautiful children, James Junior, who we call JJ, Thelma and Michael. My best friend and next door neighbor is Willona Woods. James does what he can to support us, but on occasion I clean houses for a living. Sometimes I think we should have stayed in New York, where I worked for the Findlays, but James got a new job and we had to move, so here we are.

My Interests

Wearing orange pantsuits, Cooking, cleaning, taking care of my family, giving advice to friends, the occasional church social.

I'd like to meet:

Nice people, especially other housewives. I love to cook and clean and share recipes!

Movies:

Cooley High always makes me cry. It reminds me of my JJ!

Television:

I don't get to watch much TV, what with all my cooking, cleaning and giving advice to people.

Books:

The only book you'll find in this house is the Lord's book! Well, JJ had some books here once, but they had nasty pictures in them, so I said; Get that trash out of my house! ''Art Books'' he called them! Looked like plain old nasty books, to me!

James is dead and I just smashed my best punch bowl! DAMN! Why didn't I listen to Willona, and buy a plastic one from Party Fair? Oh, Lawd...
