About Me

I am a member of

My Interests

I LOVE photography! I'm into stalking...I mean, taking photographs of my family, friends, places where we hang out and things. My favourite sport is baseball and I am a HUGE New York Yankees and Chicago Cubs fan! Joe Girardi and Damon Berryhill are two of my all time favourite catchers! I also like watching the Chicago Bears and Chicago Bulls play. Hanging out with my family is interesting.... TRUST ME...they ARE the entertainment sometimes! So is being with my friends. I have been BLESSED with many life long friends who are more like my family than they are friends! We love going to the beach and to the park. Checking out thrift stores, antique stores and garage sales for bargains is quite a thrill! I enjoy reading, writing, watching my children play and learn, having dinner parties, science fiction, collecting stuff (comic books, autographs, baseball cards) and just living life. Life is TOO short to worry about the small stuff.... live it to the FULLEST!..

I'd like to meet:

anyone who is interested in photography, any type of dancing, Chicago Cubs, home schooling, reminiscing about the 1970s and those who are striving to make a difference in our world! We all have life stories that are good, bad and life changing... I want to hear about yours.

Music:

Aerosmith, Boston, Styx, Carpenters, Barry White, Abba, Jefferson Starship, Louisiana's LeRoux, The Beatles, Five For Fighting, Black Eyed Peas, Electric Light Orchestra, Kansas, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, O'Jays, Isley Brothers, 4 Tops, Miracles, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Isaac Hayes, Barry Manilow, Fergie, Mary J. Blige, Pussycat Dolls, The Clash, Beyonce, Rod Stewart, Kiss, Pearl Jam, U2, Jefferson Airplane, Marty Balin, Robert Palmer, Santana, Three Degrees, The Eagles, Bee Gees, Peter Frampton, Earth Wind & Fire, Herb Alpert, Pete Sears, Dan Fogelberg, Eartha Kitt, Lou Rawls, Johnny Rivers, Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, Kelly Clarkson, KT Tunstall, Billy Preston, Pink, Finger Eleven, Kool & The Gang, KC & The Sunshine Band, Bo Donaldson & The Heywoods, Nickelback, Echo and the Bunnymen, Jars of Clay

Movies:

I love ALL movies with Michael Caine, Cary Grant, Vincent D'Onofrio and Danny Kaye. My favourite movie actors are Sean Connery, Hugh Jackman, Sandra Bullock, Michael Moriarty and Bill Pullman. The following movies are ones I could watch over and over again: Grease. Van Helsing. While You Where Sleeping. Field of Dreams. Willie Wonka and The Chocolate Factory. Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Star Wars. Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade. Monty Python's Life of Brian, Meaning of Life. Holy Grail. Monty Python's Live At The Hollywood Bowl. The Others. The Fugitive. Sleepless in Seattle. A Christmas Story. Goodbye Girl. The Untouchables. Bishops Wife. Arsenic and Old Lace. The Man Who Would Be King. The Swarm. Dressed To Kill, The Island. Men In Black. A League of Their Own. Mulan. Somewhere In Time. Monsters, Inc. Bang the Drum Slowly. The Two Worlds of Jennie Logan. All X-Men movies. Kate & Leopold. The Whole Wide World. Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band. Spiderman. Superman. Rent. Rocky Horror Picture Show. A Patch of Blue. ..

Television:

Eamonn Walker, Vincent D'Onofrio, Jesse L. Martin and Shemar Moore are my favourite actors. I still love Lindsay Wagner. I think she rock and rolls! I also bought her cookbook "The High Road to Health"...it's good too! My favourite shows are Heroes, Ugly Betty, Criminal Intent, Criminal Minds and CSI so don't call me while those shows are on because I'm not going to answer! I really miss watching The Rookies (does anyone remember Bruce Fairbairn who played Officer Chris Owens?!), The Bionic Woman (the GOOD version with Lindsay Wagner!), Alien Nation (Gary Graham and Eric Pierpoint...they were SO great together and CUTE guys!!!), Starsky and Hutch (Paul Michael Glaser and David Soul), Emergency (Randy Mantooth..yeah baby!), Oz (Christopher Meloni). I love watching the classics like I Love Lucy, The Rifleman (Chuck Connors...sigh. Did I mention he used to play for the Chicago Cubs?), Twilight Zone, Night Gallery (now THERE was a creepy show!) The Honeymooners and Star Trek. I can't stand reality shows except for one...Gene Simmons Family Jewels. He is really great and his kids are terrific! Ya know, I'm starting to think I watch WAY too much television...nahhhhh. I still have time for MySpace!..

Books:

Well, I did put The Stand and Swan Song as my favourite books but actually I don't have one. It's been YEARS since I actually read a good book. I've read Thomas the Tank, The Saggy Baggy Elephant, The Little Engine that could. Ya know how it is...I have children so I don't have much time for myself but I'm not complaining! There will be PLENTY of time for me to read when my children are... grown and out of the house! They aren't allowed to date until each of them is 30 years old so it'll be a while until I have my own time to myself. I do look forward to the B&H Catalog every year! Hmm... The Toys R Us catalog? I get excited about that too! It's nice being able to relive my childhood. I get to play with toys I wish I had myself when I was young. Oh yeah, back to favourite books.... I did read The Good Earth, Grapes of Wrath, Portrait of Dorian Gray, East of Eden, Michael Caine's autobiography and of course Gary Graham's Acting and other Flying Lessons. I also like cookbooks. I have cookbooks from the 1930s I use my mother gave me. They belonged to my grandmother. They are VERY cool!

Heroes:

GOD... because without HIM I am nothing. Jesus Christ, my Saviour who has saved me. My husband Brian. I am married to the most amazing man ever! He is a great husband, a loving father and my best friend! Thank you Brian! Firefighters and Law Enforcement...they don't get paid enough money for what they do! People in the medical profession...they rock! Our military...we have not forgotten the ones who paid the ultimate price for our freedom and the ones who are still on the battlegrounds... I salute you. My children who taught me life is about the simple things to enjoy and not to worry about things you can't control. Mommy loves you Alexander, Darlene and Jessica! I am SO blessed to have amazing children like you three!
