"THE MAN BEHIND TMMANAGEMENT"

Ja'Dee Murphy
Stylish, grounded and focused are the words often used to describe JD Murphy. A native New Yorker, JD is an inner city man with vision and confidence. His education includes the School of Visual Arts and Parson School of Designs where his raw talent in writing, drawing and theatrical arts first astounded his teachers. He was awarded the Claudia Bronze Medal for Art and Designs while attending William Howard Taft High School.
JD has extensive experience as an actor, dancer, model, photographer, make-up artist and writer, a combination of skills ideal for model management, fashion show production and talent representation. He credits his time working with the late couturier Gustavo Huertas as essential to his remarkable style and "eye." While touring with Huertas, JD perfected the industry keynotes: Timing, Technique, and "The Look."
JD's passion for fashion influenced him to form the first all black male modeling agency, B.M.E., which rapidly grew into his full service agency, TONES. JD's commitment and courage inspired and opened doors for many talented Afro and Latino Americans and other ethnic groups. His motto: "Let no one tell you no to your dream."
In August of 2001, TONES model Management expanded and took up residence in the grand New York landmark, The Empire State Building. JD and TONES models are proud to have worked for more than five years with the fashion directors and producers Donald Credle and Jerry Jordan Brown on GMAD's annual fashion shows. TONES contributed models for John Blassingame’s Men Collection shows and have been featured in Today's Black Women magazine. TONES models have appeared on the covers of "Venus" and "For You" bridal magazines.
Over the years TONES models have worked with some of the East coast's finest designers, including Francis Hendy, Deborah Williams for Her Game 2 and Edwing D' Angelo, and have participated with other top New York modeling agencies in the Harlem Week 2001, 2002 and 2003 Fashion Shows. TONES models have appeared on the NBC's The Today Show. Ron Cook, Fashion Stylist and writer for Honey magazine, called on TONES for his special Seven on Seven, 2002 fashion show during New York's Fashion Week. TONES models are best described as having exotic beauty that is distinctive, provocative, glamorous and intriguing.

I’m going to have life!
Wow, I am going to have life.
Nine months waiting in this warm cocoon.
I developed all ten fingers and toes.
Oh my, I am going to have beautiful brown eyes,
I am going to look just like my mother, but with my daddy’s hair.
I can't wait to meet my family,
How many sisters and brothers will I have?
What would I be when I grow up?
What does this world have stored for me?
I can't wait. I have so much love to give.
Uh oh, what’s happening?
What is that bright light?
Who are those hands on my head?
Mmmm, I am here mommy.
Look, I am your baby girl,
Am I just what you wanted?
I can't wait for you to take me home.
Do I have grand parents, will they love me?
This is so wonderful.
Mommy and Daddy, would you take me to the parks and play with me, help me with me with homework, and teach me good things?
What would you give me on my first birthday?
God had gifted me with so many wonderful talents it is going to be hard to choose.
What would I be?
But these are things you and I will never know or I live to see,
Mommy killed me last night.
I don’t know why.

Another child was killed Monday, January 29, 2007 in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx. Another baby was thrown down a garbage chute of a project building facility. The child was a female, 2 to 4 month old girl. There has been many recent killing of children by the hands of their own parent or parents, we are not talking about teenagers, and though there been some reports but it mostly been the murder of innocent infants.
What is wrong with this generation of parents that goes killing their own young? A cobra is less likely to kill their young.

Is this a mental illness, an effect of poverty, substance abuse, whatever it is, it needs to stop. Its not just happening in poor areas, but it is spreading around the world. How often have you heard or seen in the media of an infant or child being killed? It is unfair that these lambs have to be affected and fight with deadly diseases, but now it appears that another disease is taking their lives (murder).

I know I asked myself what can I do about this, I can’t save every child, but maybe I can make effort to spread awareness. Maybe posters and ads needs to be placed on side of buses, trains, billboards in Time Square , written in all languages, telling parents that they can drop their child off at the Police Precincts, Hospital and Churches, and that no questions will be asked. The bigger crime is the murder not the abandonment. Our youths laugh at birth control today and having unwanted pregnancies, these young girls try to hide their pregnancies from others. These young mothers or putting their newborn baby in trash-cans, dumping them in sewers, rivers, and cutting the infants in pieces there is one case that the mother put the infant in a microwave oven. Seriously folk we can help in some way. Talk to a young person, volunteer your services. Talk with your sisters or brothers, mentor someone. We all have busy lives, but when this shit hit home remember you could help to prevented it.

Take care of you
Peace and Love

Hello Dear friends,
we are approaching 2008 And the way man treats man still have not changed
Please read bog, let other know you will not stand for Injustice of any kind. Racism must stop.
In Silence

In the cool, the warmth, as I touch the air
A whisper entered my ear.
I am allured by glory to which there was no compare.
A voice smoothing and gentle announce take care,
For I dreamed your dreams
When you thought none cared.
In silence I found grace,
That led me to a passage that was charmed
I treasured it acceptance,
Because I knew it was God.
Listen to your enter voice,
God is always trying to tell you something.

Have You Forgotten Who I Am
Are you afraid of my skin or I, having an education.
Or is it the fact that I grow like sunflowers in a wide open field,
Tall and strong replanting my seeds.
Are you threaten by the powers that only God given me
Have you found yourself so weak to strip my truth?
Have you forgotten that I’d crossed over many oceans and seas?
I sing songs of my heritage pride and celebrate my worthiness
I see you forgotten who I am
My voice speaks for many of my kind
My roar is powerful, it moves mountainsides
No whip shall ever beat this fresh again
I have The Lord’s grace on my side and I’ll win
I will continue to stand with any man
It would be you to brow on that day
Your judgment is on its way
When you meet the Lord and he say on to you,
“That my brother is my creation.”

Heroes:

Pat is fighting a good cause (Orphan Diseases) This is beautiful song, Go to Mr. Girondi page to learn more and how you can help, his CD's are for sell and each dollar is contribute to his cause. I had the greatest pleasure of meeting with Pat while he was in NYC and must say it was an honor to meet such a gifted and talented man who acknowledges a cause that is so greatly needed. For those who don't know what orphan's diseases are, in simple; they are those diseases that do not effect a large population, and so little research is actually done to help fine a cure or improve treatment. However for the family one the love one's who have to see their love one's life slip away because the doctor can't provide quality treatment because of lack of government funding.
Thank you Pat for sharing this information with us and your gift of music
Thanks for finding my message. I am lost drifting on some ocean since October of '92'. Without friends we are all lost. I often feel alone but there are thousands of people on my ship. Some of them have Thalassemia, some have Sickle cell Anemia. I don't know all of their names but I do know them. I've seen the fears and the tears of their loved ones. They have become my tears and my fears. For moments I have resigned myself to the oceans of Indifference and False Hope. Research in the Orphan Diseases is my port. I'm pat g Welcome to my Orphan Disease Voyage. I call it Orphan's Journey. I hope that we can make the trip together.
