Uploaded by Pureblooddistribution Amongst the ashes of passed lives the members of TALAMASCA picked themselves up and dusted themselves down, like the unreal personas emerging from the pages of a long lost ghost story, each realising their mistakes and recognising where they went wrong.Each then vowing it would never happen that way again.Next time things would be on their terms, or not at all.So it was that Stig, Jim, Gore and Gar founded the roots of the mighty TALAMASCA..From the nightmares hidden deep within the mind, all those we thought had been safely locked away and labelled as childhood foolishness, TALAMASCA bring forth their own dark and foreboding testaments to the fears and horrors we know exist just beyond the corner of our eye. The horrors of life and imagination that no matter how we try to block them out, our primeval instinct will not allow us to ignore them completely.Their song writing taps into a rich seam of terror and fear that surrounds us all, the knowing that things exist in the dark, things we have until now we have lied to ourselves and believed were not real. Things we foolishly told ourselves..Will never happen to me!..From ancient Gods and Wraiths - to the growing threat of Techno-enslavement. From the fight back of the supernatural and all its monsters - to the horror of injustice done unto man by his brother in the name of greed and glory and greatness.TALAMASCA resurrects them all.Their sound is their homage to the way things should be done.The front line vocals snarl and growl with ferocity while the backing vocals come softer and easier but no less bloodthirsty. Like a fiend in the night the guitar riffs roar, marking out their territory for all to know, intertwined with high-pitched harmonics like the howls telling the pack of the kill. All this backed up with the bass and drums, sounding like an approaching thunderstorm and turmoil.This is the darkest, heaviest force that rock has encountered since ages passed.THE MIGHTY TALAMASCA.
