MAVERICK

1992 MAVERICK Was formed by Katsuhiko Hotta in sapporo. He is leader of the band. 1994 1st demo MAVERICK was released. 1995 Hotta(Vo) became the guitarlist and made a four-piece band.1997 2rd demo UNDER FIRE was released. 1998 First live performance in Tokyo and Osaka Those were the first gigs in Honshu(main islands of Japan)... 1999-2000 Jun Nakatsubo(Ds) joined band. Began to perform live tours in big cities, regularly. 2001 Third demo CD-R UNFOLDS THE WAY was released. 2003 Masaru Hasegawa(B) joined the band. 2004 Noriyasu Kiya(Gt) joined and toured the country. Recorded the song (Blazon Stone) for a Running Wild tribute album The Revivalry by Remedy Records(Germany). 2005 July Toured abroad They played with Paul Gilbert(ex-member of Mr.Big) in Hong Kong. They appeared on the annual heavy metal Festival Headbangers Open Air and played with HEATHEN(US) in Germany, also played a live Hong Kong. August the first album MAVERICK went on sale from Spiritual Beast label. Before the tour they ahended to the release the album, Kiya(Gt) got a sudden sickness(Pneumothorax of the lungs), Yasuda(Gt/ex-member) played as a supporting guitarlist They had 21 performances in Japan. 2006 January, Kiya(Gt) came back and Yasuda(Gt) joined the band. Officially The band became Five members witch is the central being Hotta(Vo). 2006 December Noriyasu Kiya(Gt) , 2007 June Masaru Hasegawa(Ba) left the band. On September Sinichi Tanaka (Gt),Takahiro Yonehara (Ba) joined band.
