Hi all! Iâ€™m Lisa Bent and this is just a quick insight into what I doâ€¦
A graduate in Performing Arts, I am a trained actress, dancer and ex model, successfully carving out a career as a presenter. My very first interview was with UK singer Lemar, shortly after his appearance in Fame Academy. He thought I was a pro and had been doing it for years, his astonishment and positive feedback gave me the confidence to pursue. Since then I have gone from strength to strength and have been presenting for 4 years. Within that time I have hosted numerous live events and clinched interviews with an array of celebrities on and off the red carpet such as Lil Jon, Jennifer Hudson, Danny Boyle and Matthew Knowles to name a few.
As a TV presenter I have hosted a variety of chat and lifestyle shows for SKY, which was ideal as I have an opinion on just about everything. I am known for my straight to the point views, witty yet cheeky comments and smile. I have also hosted live quiz shows to main channels in Barbados and Africa.
I am currently presenting ROLLINâ€™ with Colin Greene for BFM (Black Film Makers) an entertainment movie review show highlighting new and established talented Ethnic Minorities in the world of media to the mainstream.
I am also active behind the camera lens, producing new TV ideas and writing articles for magazines, whilst studying a Higher Diploma in Counselling.
I am always looking for new projects to work on in all avenues of media. So get at me if youâ€™re interested or would like to know more.

I'd like to meet:

To be honest i have been blessed to have met and interviewed so many people already...the untimate for me would have to be...Spike lee, Oprah, Jah Cure and Will Smith but you know other Like minded people in the industry...will also do :-)

Music:

Love neo soul and R&B... so anything from, Jill Scott, Jaquar Wright, Vivian Green, Musiq to Beyonce, 112 etc etc

Movies:

I love my black films especially if Taye Diggs and Morris Chesnut are in it... but you know the classics such as Coming to America, Boomerang, Brothers. My favourite films overall are Shawshank Redemption, Grease, West Side story and Romeo and Juliet - the contemporary version. I'm sure there is alot more i cant think right now

Television:

Im quite critical, need to know whats going on so i flick alot. But i like... Prison Break, Ugly Betty, Everybody hates Chris, Hollyoaks omnibus on a sunday morning heaven lol I will also admit that.. i still rush home to watch Big Brother What? its the one of the truest programmes that show how desperate people are for instant fame and what they really think of people in general. True colours always come out, there is nowhere to hide when the cameras are on 24/7.
