I am originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil. I have lived in Los Angeles for the past six years . I guess you could say I have achieved the American dream of sorts. Coming from another country and barely knowing English, I first moved to London to study the language. After living in London for almost two years, I then met my partner while he was on holiday there and I moved here for him and we were togeteher for almost 7 years. When I first moved to Los Angeles I began working in the fashion industry. Even though I love fashion, I always wanted to be more creative and artistic with my talents. That is when I decided to change my career path and focus more on learning about hair color. After extensive studying, I began my career at the top salon in Los Angeles " John Frieda " located on the secluded and ultra Chic Melrose Place. I have learned through developing my own technique that great hair color does not necessarily mean changing someone's look entirely, but rather working with someone's natural color and helping to accentuate what is already theirs. I created a special technique called the " Ipanema Bombshell blonde". It's a technique that makes beautiful dark blondes or brunettes have a lighter hair color without changing the natural color or making it appear brassy. Essentially it's just hi-lights, but by lightening the ends a little bit more makes the ends brighter and very sexy like Gisele, the model's hair is darker on the roots and lighter on the ends like the sun did it. I call this look sun kissed. This technique is only one of my specialties. I work with all different types of color and I am also known for being great at corrective color and for doing beautiful red heads. I have a talent of bringing damaged hair back into shape by using top products that are not too harsh on the hair.
