CHARLIE

CHARLIE was born in Poland. At the tender age of nine she and her family moved to NYC, where she first developed her love for music and fashion. Her Father had already noticed then that his little girl knew and sang along with every song on the radio. Six years later her family decided to move back to Poland and Charlie as a minor had to move with them, but she knew then that she wouldn't stay for long. Her Father saw how important music and singing was to her because she would just sing all day long, so while at high school, he took her their town’s Cultural Center in Opole and signed her up to a vocal workshop, where Charlie was fortunate to have fallen under the direction of a very well known in Poland vocal coach Elzbieta Zapendowska. Elzbieta would train her students on singers like George Benson, Al Jareau, Ella Fitzgerald, Lisa Stansfield, Rachelle Ferrel and other world’s finest. Charlie later was accepted into Poland’s Pop Music College in Poznan, http://www.welcometo.poznan.pl/2000.09/en-studium.html, During the following year Charlie worked with different band formations in Europe and later moved to Dubai, a place unlike any other, which she fell in love with and decided to stay for a while. In Dubai Charlie later worked for Dubai TV, an affiliate of BBC London as a TV Newscaster for an English Channel - Channel 33. She also had a few band formations there, one of which was the opening act for the World’s Best Hotel - The Burj Al Arab. The stunning 5'11 foot tall statuesque performer was soon hunted by Modeling Agencies in Dubai and later in London, UK and walked the catwalks for Gucci, Donna Karan, Stefanel, Thierry Mugler, Levi's as well as other mixed designers fashion shows. She later moved to London, UK and worked with All Around The World Records, also with a famous UK production team K-Klass. In Dubai, Charlie's songs (especially Obsession) became the biggest Hits on Dubai Radio Stations, getting more play requests than songs from the US Top 40. Two years ago Charlie has decided to move back to the US, where she still lives today, working on a new music project.
