As a host of music television shows, concerts and underground movements Shani Kulture is the leader to an uprising of a new generation in talent.

Influenced by a grandmother that was a concert pianist, an uncle that rehearsed his band in his Hollis Queens basement, a mother who is an educator, a step-father that is a Trinidadian calypso singer, as well as steel drum maker, a father who is a civil rights activist and a sister emcee that blessed the microphone before her time, it was a natural progression that the spirit of a musical revolution would be revived within Shani Kulture.
