Mark 'Melody Expert' McLaughlin

About Me

Musical prodigy Mark McLaughlin is anything but your typical singer/songwriter. When you hear his voice you will understand why he has opened for some of music's most respected artists like John Legend, Lala Hathaway, Dead Prez, Dwele and the list goes on. Marks Music Career started at the age of 16 When he used singing as a way to avoid getting in trouble on the streets of N.Y. and to entertain friends in school. When he started getting calls from fellow classmates asking to serenade their girlfriends over the phone he began looking at his talent in a different way, He then entered local Talent shows and realized again that singing was much more than a hobby when he could not leave the stage. As Mark got older he started looking for inspiration from legends like Donny Hathaway, Gladys Knight, Otis Redding, Bob Marley and Stevie Wonder. Many venues have felt Marks presence also like the famous SOB'S, The Village underground, B.B. Kings, The Sugar with Ashford &Simpson and The M Bar in California landing him in numerous publications with rave revues in VIBE Magazine and Black Women Magazine.
