Big Duck Management is pleased to announce that our street team has joined forces with the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom and will be handling the lion's share of the grassroots promotion of the 2008 Summer Budweiser True Music Concert Series!
Big Duck Management History & General Information
Big Duck Management was founded in 2004 by Nate Hastings, former Manager of Portsmouth, New Hampshire based rock/hip-hop fusionists Solid8. Originally focusing on artist management and production services under the name Big Duck Artist & Production Management Company the name was shortened in 2006 to Big Duck Management with a renewed focus on concert promotion in association with the Rochester Opera House ; a 950-seat auditorium first opened to the public in 1908.
While working on promoting performances at the Rochester Opera House and other venues Big Duck Management's fonder works in student affairs where he not only attends to the housing and developmental needs of college students but also shares his love of music promotion. He assisted in the presentation of Monty Are I and Recycled Percussion at Daniel Webster College as well as benefit and festival-style performances at the University of New Hampshire over the past seven years including helping to land a local act on the bill with the The Roots ' Rahzel.
In addition to working with live music Hastings also worked in the studio with the Brother Kite on Waiting For The Time To Be Right, their critically-acclaimed sophomore release on Clairecords .
Now Big Duck Management is embarking on a new phase in its evolution. Big Duck Management will be spearheading the grassroots and digital promotion of performances at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom .
About The Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom: Constructed in 1899, the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom has solidified itself as New Hampshire's premiere entertainment facility. Drawing millions of people through its doors for over 10 decades, the 2,200 seat venue has expanded its season to run from April through November. For the past three years that Casino Ballroom has been ranked in the top 25 clubs for ticket sales Worldwide. The Ballroom has plated host to entertainment's biggest names, from legends like Janis Joplin, Led Zeppelin and the Doors o current mega stars like Panic! At the Disco, Dane Cook and The Stokes. As the centerpiece of the Beach, the Ballroom provides an unsurpassed avenue for a diverse line-up of events each year that includes Blues, Country, Rock, Folk, Pop, Oldies, Comedy and Boxing. In 2006 the Casino Ballroom was number 26 on the list of top 100 club venues for ticket sales worldwide.
We had the opportunity to help Kirschner Concerts with the promotion of Great Big Sea at the Portsmouth Music Hall. It was an excellent show and a true honor. Keep checking with Big Duck Management for more info about great shows coming to Northern New England.
