About Me

I have peter pan syndrome, I don't want to grow up. Well 60 is just around the corner, so I should at least consider it. I Love life, people and nature. I was born in Budapest, Hungary. Came to the USA in 1956. I have traveled the 48 states as a trucker, but never made it to Alaska or Hawaii. I have been to Canada and Mexico a few times though. I visited many interesting sites while doing the over the road bit; like the White house, Carlsbad Caverns and Mount Rushmore. Delivered freight to the World Trade Center. I have had some other interesting jobs. I was once stranded in Florida and cut sugar cane for money to get a bus ticket home. I also danced as a stripper at the Crazy Horse bar in Denver,Colorado, it's the one in Every which way but loose, with Clint Eastwood and Clyde the orangutan, Sid King was the owner back then. I also took my clothes off in Kokomo. Indiana that is. That was over 25 years ago. I even had enough time to get married a few times. 4 is the most recent number. 3 to the same man, so does that really count? I have never divorced the men in my life; they divorced me, so I guess the secret is out. I am not a keeper. I am still looking for true love and the man that can accept me as I am, which is very hard because I am not any where close to perfect, being a barbarian and such. Depends on what your priorities are, if you can handle a woman like me. I have so many faults, I have even been told I should die a horrible death. Oh well, at least I have been lucky enough to have a beautiful daughter who has given me two wonderful grandsons :) My incredible son has finally settled down and he and his wife now have a precious daughter, my granddaughter and another child on the way, I am guessing a son. (update) It is a new grandson so I guessed right! I love America, I am glad they don't hold my ancestry against me, can't help I might be related to Attila the Hun. I love to play America's Army online (the newest version 2.8.4) Hey you got to have a hobby right? I play under the name -=[RBF]=-Marika50. I play at snake plain missions the most, but I could be almost anywhere. Come and catch me if you can. This game kicks ass. 2007 was a crazy year for me. Some good and some not so good. I still don't want to stop! Bring on 2008 Well 2008 came and the changes it brought were surprising to say the least. I am now living in Florida taking care of my dad who had a stroke recently. I have finally made some friends and I am starting to blend with the natives. Even starting to get a tan. My motto: don't sweat the small stuff. Live life like today could be your last because you never know. Remember no matter what the world dishes out, a wise man said "This too shall pass". Recently myspace helped reunite me with my "lost" family members. what a wonderful thing huh! ..> ..

My Interests

I enjoy many things: Gardening, cooking, sewing, dancing, hiking, spelunking (exploring caves) skiing, fishing, hunting and making my own wine. Lately been doing research on the year 2012. Theories abound...one is that earth won't be a safe place to live for awhile but maybe the 33 latitude or is it longitude that has places of possibilities. Need more information to plan the great escape.

I'd like to meet:

all sorts of friendly people who still believe in life and how good it can be.

Music:

I am into all types of music, really love it. if it has any kind of beat I am there. My choice of music says alot about the crazy ride I call my life.

Movies:

I enjoy sci-fi or horror movies; and movies based on true events. And I love those comedies

Television:

medium, heros and the Unit are the ones I seemed to catch regularly. I started watching Raines and liked it too, now they took it off after only 7 episodes! I am so upset about it. Now I am on my computer so much I forget I have a TV

Books:

I have read Burroughs, not his Tarzan, but his books about John Carter and the Mars Trilogy because I was into sci-fi. Then I got into King and Koontz, but I have also read shark attack reports, and stories about true events with just as much interest.

Heroes:

The All Mighty, You have to hand it to the Big Guy because he really has his work cut out for him, besides he has never let me down.
