In March of 2004, while a student at the University of Pittsburgh, X-Factor began to experiment with the art of beat making. In less than 2 years, X-Factor's production skills matured to a level that helped him receive critical acclaim from his peers. X-Factor contributes his style of music to the fact that he first began to listen to Hip-Hop in 1987, a classic year in Hip-Hop. Taking some elements of that old school era and combining them with a contemporary sound has helped Antonio produce what he calls the "X-Factor Sound." His sound has an unknown factor that separates him from he rest of the producers in Hip-Hop today. X-Factor has been influenced by producers such as DJ Premier, The Rza, Kanye West, and the late J-Dilla.
What I hope to accomplish with my music:
With my music, I hope to establish myself as one of the premier producers in all of Hip-Hop. I hope to bring skills and creativity back to mainstream Hip-Hop, by producing tracks that are timeless and evoke emotions in its listeners.
Who I'd like to meet:
Intelligent, outspoken, soft-spoken, kind-hearted people. I'd like to network with fellow producers, rappers, managers, etc. If you are looking for a unique producer, get at me via PM or email .
