Misunderstood by many, Ali Ghanavi is an uncommon person, recognized for pushing the limits.
Ali has been collecting respect in the scene, known for spinning quality music, passion for the underground, and desire to share that energy with others.
He has firmly established himself as one of Southern Californias true dance music Djs. Ali-G has rocked dance floors in Mexico, San Diego, Orange County, Las Vegas and Los Angeles among other cities.

Born in Houston, raised in Mexico and Iran, Ali's multicultural influences have transferred to his music.
Experiencing the club scene and dance music at a young age in Mexico and Europe, Ali-G gained musical influences from Latin rhythms, rock, hip hop beats, and the 80's Euro-Synths.
"In those days I listened to every kind of music possible so I could find something strong and emotional that I liked about the sounds, unique grooves, or any style."
His first residency in the San Diego's club circuit was at the Underground AM Afterhours in 2000. It was there Ali developed his own distinctive style and sound.
"We would go to the clubs and raves in San Diego, Mexico and L.A to watch the best Djs rock the tables and the crowd , then we would come back to the club at 3 AM and Dj till the next day."
Ali Ghanavi's irresistible appetite to move his audience became second nature.
"As I began playing records in 1999, I found that there is a really intense connection between the DJ and the people. I noticed a very special vibe and learned how to rock the crowd while bringing the funk to the atmosphere
As his hunger grew, a new philosophy developed.
"Dj-ing is about being able to read people and take them on a journey. You have to take every opportunity you are given as if it is your last chance to move the dance floor."
He now prepares to release original tracks , colaborated project and remixes under the hottest new record label "Connected Muzik" with partner in crime Arthur "Kid Krazzy" Tellez
Keeping in mind that the underground is where you come from and something you can always fall back on,
Ali keeps a positive motivation and direction to push forward and work harder with the vision focused on spreading the vibe thru the muzik.
His musical style is continuing to evolve combining different sounds from all genres.
His inspiration? "Life overall and the everyday experiences inspire me and show me that muzik is the answer and will bring people together in a positive direction.
