Since adolescence DJ REEPLEE has been immersed in funk and soul.
It all started in 1989 when he started to DJ at Parisian nightclubs.
From then on, he took off ! In 1991 he became resident DJ at a glamourous Parisian nightclub and honed his trade behind the decks there for four years (famous parisian debuts at this club included Madonna and Patrick Hernandez ).By 1995, Reeplee was booked for many major underground nights at which he played R&B and House, styles that were very popular at the time. He decided it was time to make his own tracks and by 1994 he was ready. It was through remix competitions for major labels that Reeplee became well known. The breakthrough came with his remix of James Brown (Can't get any harder) that won him the phonogram trophy. In terms of studio work this opened up many opportunities.Today Reeplee works from his own studio producing deep house tracks for his own label SOUVENT RECORDS created in 2004. He DJs all over France, Europe and USA.
