Dj sPaCe MeG
Jose Rodrigues, born in Oporto (Portugal). Following his father's steps, he began his musical journey at a young age as at age 10, he already "played" with his father's musical gear - vinyls, beat boxes, effects processor, mixing tables and turntables. Awaking a distant attraction to electronic sounds, that would influence the years to follow.
"Growing up I started attending trance parties, filling an unbelievable inquisitiveness of finding out more about the adrenaline of enrapture lots of people to dance" says Space Meg. A year later he was already giving his audience first tastes of his musical power and earning the qualities to become a leading D.J. by hard work and discipline.
These days Space Meg is shaking dance floors everywhere, sliding smoothly across the melodic and the powerful aspects of today's "advanced" trance music.
Along side initiating a course of Musical Formation and Composition and Professional Production, as well as his "baptism of fire" in musical production, a relationship with Mushy Records started, being the labels' first representative on European ground and been given a big faith for his work. In June 2007 was the release of the VA - Spring Break Compiled by Dj sPaCe MeG, edited by Mushy Records, presenting the work of great artists such as sPaCe MeG, In-Panic, Bubble, Mojo, Twilight, Monica Scream, Insomnia, Perlook and Yoti.
sPaCe MeG played in great parties such as Perlook & Biotouch Tour 2008, Alternative Control & Domino Tour 2008, Green Trippin Camp Festival 2007, Calitas Bay Festival 2007, Magical Tribe Party 2007, Abomination Tour 2007, Bubble Tour 2007, Total Lunar Eclipse 2007, Magic Wisdom 2006, and much more...
In those parties he played with international artists such as Abomination, Alternative Control, Aquatica, Atomic Pulse, Barak, Bizarre Contact, Bubble, Cosmic Tone, Dark Soho, DNA, Domino, Galactika, Gataka, Gio (Monica Scream), Mad Netic, Painkiller, Perlook, Protoculture, Psyche Logos, Sesto Sento, Star-X, System Nipel, Ultravoice, Visual Contact, X-Noize...

José Rodrigues, nasceu no Porto (Portugal). Seguindo os passos de seu pai, ele começou a sua jornada musical com a jovem idade de 10 anos, ele já "trabalhava" com o equipamento musical de seu pai - vinyls, caixas de ritmos, processadores de efeitos, mesas de mistura e pratos. Despertando uma distante atracção para sons electrónicos, que iria influenciar os anos seguintes.
"Ao crescer comecei a frequentar festas de trance, preenchendo uma curiosidade inacreditável de descobrir mais sobre a adrenalina de deleitar muitas pessoas a dançar" diz Space Meg. Um ano mais tarde ele já dava ao seu público os primeiros gostos do seu poder musical e ganhando as qualidades para se tornar um D.J. lider com trabalho duro e disciplina.
Nos dias de hoje Space Meg está a agitar os dancefloors por toda a parte, deslizando suavemente por toda a melódica e os poderosos aspectos da actual música trance "avançada".
Iniciando um curso de Formação Musical e Composição juntamente com Produção Profissional, assim como o seu "batismo de fogo" na produção musical, começou um relacionamento com a Mushy Records, sendo o primeiro representante da label em solo europeu em que foi dada uma grande fé pelo seu trabalho. Em Junho de 2007 foi o lançamento da VA - Spring Break Compilada pelo Dj sPaCe MeG, editada pela Mushy Records, apresentando o trabalho de grandes artistas como sPaCe MeG, In-Panic, Bubble, Mojo, Twilight, Monica Scream, Insomnia, Perlook e Yoti.
