Mysteries and comic thrillers, Carl Hiaasen, Tim Dorsey, Dave Barry, Clinton McKinzie, Robert Parker, Jonathan Kellerman, Michael Connelly, Donald Westlake. I try to read some non-fiction, too--particularly music guides, and pop culture reference books like the The Book of Lists so I can fill my brain with even more useless information and annoy others with said information.

Heroes:

Anyone who's not been afraid to stick up for what they believe in.
