SYNOPSIS:
As a cart collector working in the sweltering parking lot of a Los Angeles wholesale store, you could say Roberto is in hell. Helping obnoxious customers load their cars with enough bulk products to last them through the millennium, life doesn’t get much worse.
Or could it?
Roberto really screwed up in his former life. When an accident cut his life short, he didn’t simply die and go straight to heaven or hell. Roberto was given a second chance to redeem himself and live a humble life as a young, Hispanic cart attendant. Where else can your will and soul be tested than the world of customer service?
Carts is a combination of dark humor and blunt honesty about the customer service culture in a melting pot like Los Angeles. In this tech era of getting everything done fast and electronically, there is still a job that requires a human touch…the cart collector.
