About Me

9/2/06: Let me begin my introduction by stating that joining MySpace has openedso many doors for me. It is a wealth of information, introducing me to some of thefinest people, amazing and talented authors, and music to keep me movingthrough the day. I am most grateful to have the opportunity to get to know all whohave added me as friend.
Thank you!

Ever since I was a young and watched Vincent Price in Edgar Allan Poe's movies Iwas hooked on horror. I am not a huge fan of slasher or gore horror, butabsolutely feed off a good suspenseful thriller. I much prefer a plot that will drawme in, twist me around, tease me, thrill me, scare me, then send me home saying"wow!" I love good ghost, vampire & werewolf, and good ol supernaturalthrillers.
I have always been an avid music fan, following the Grateful Dead for years. Thefamily and friends I made through those times are dear and neverending.
I am a transplant from the San Francisco Bay Area to the outskirts of beautifulSeattle, making home on secluded and forested acreage in the CascadeMountains.
I am an artist of sorts, making candles, tie-dying, incense making, beading jewelryand clothes, stained glass, basket weaving, oil painting and portraits.
Another great joy is gardening and the miracle of flowers. I have managed toclear an area of this forested land to plant flowers of all varieties, and it'sbeautiful.
Life is good
And for music?

UPDATE 3/2007:

It is with great sadness I lay a blood red rose to the grave of Visions of Terror and its very popular Horror Forum. May it rest in peace.
Visions had the finest members of any Horror Forum on the net. We also had the finest moderators any Forum could ever hope for.
Thank you Bren, Leeda, Al and Dave, and all the members who made VoT great. I am sure our paths will cross once again, even if it's an etheral shadow stepping over a black cat in a dark alley on a moonfilled night. Or, on another Horror site!
Deb, still the Horror Wench

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

If I told ya, I'd hafta kill ya...

Music:

There is so much good music, it's hard to even begin to list them all. Some big influences would be Grateful Dead, Jerry Garcia Band, Carlos Santana, Bonnie Raitt, Leftover Salmon, & Allman Brothers. I love Raggae, Jazz, Hard Rock, Bluegrass, even some Country. Music is the heartbeat, the rhythm, of life.

Movies:

Horror and supernatural thrillers. I am not a fan of slasher or gore films, and go more for thrillers that make me hide my face. I love the older classics, and I adore Vincent Price.

Favorites include, but sure not limited to:
Vampire & Werewolf films, Ghost & Supernatural, Sci-Fi, All Edgar Allan Poe films, especially Masque of the Red Death; Cabin Fever, Hostel, American Werewolf in London. The Tingler, May, Ginger Snaps, Ju-On. Outside the Horror genre I like musicals, romantic flims, and good ol comedies.

Books:

I read a variety of books, all for entertainment, for the most part. I love to escape with Horror stories and Romance novels.

A few favorites:
The Stand - Stephen King
Evilution - Shaun Jeffrey
Interview With A Vampire - Anne Rice
The Wolf & The Dove - Kathleen Woodiwiss
The Beauty Trilogy - AN Roquelaure

Heroes:
