Emily Moon
Thanks to Sam from Sandman magazine for meeting us down the Treetops the other day. The interview, in which we discuss the likes of dogs, cats, monkeys and the death of Soviet heroes, appears in the April issue, available from music shops and bars and (apparently) chip shops throughout the Midlands and the North.
You can also access the Sandman website by clicking here.
Copies of Emily Moon's debut EP, imaginitively titled "EP1" is available to purchase online, with one swift n' easy payment through PayPal:It's 3 quid, which includes p+p. The 5 tracks contained therein include the above 4 mp3's, plus the heart-stoppingly beautiful "Blue Jeans" .
Biography!
Emily Moon's father is the great jazz orator, Mr George Melly, and her mother is actress Felicity Kendal, although she's never actually met either of them, having been brought up by a family of gypsies in a caravan on a farm in Lincolnshire. Music has always been a way of life for Emily, and she was playing the Stylophone from the early age of 13. Now at the tender age of 25, she is currently living in her squat in Nottingham, where she regularly enjoys playing her Hammond Organ and tending to the needs of her pet hamster, Ronnie O'Sullivan.
Thanks! Take it easy now!
