Obdurate Seduction formed mid 2003 with the need to create combine tecky guitars with pounding drums and melodies. Its four members were already influencial in the Adelaide music scene with bands such as Autonomy, Star Ten Hash, Abuse Ritual and Animus. However Obdurate Seduction was started because its members had a passion to create the metal they have dreamed of playing. Our influences stem from awesome bands such as Arch Enemy, Within Temptation, Slayer, Machiene Head, RamZet, Lacuna Coil, Caliban, Opeth and many more. We have played many great gigs with awesome bands such as Defiled (Japan), Veil of Anguish (Vic), Double Dragon, Chalice, Deafening Silence, Blind Nation (Vic) and many more.
