Dream of Apathy formed in 2008 after an exhausting search for band members that were not only talented but also committed. This search began with the introduction of Vincent Moore to Ryan Lucivero and Stefan Butler through a friend who suggested Vince as a man that was experienced and talented. Through a meeting and one jam session it was clear he was the man for the job.
Not long after Stefan had heard of an exciting young drummer with an abundance of attitude by the name of Jamie ‘Jimmy’ Dobell. With one band practice Jimmy blew us away with his speed, technicality and diversity which made the decision easy to welcome Jimmy to the fold.
Now with the line-up complete they have set out to combine some of the best facets of heavy music to create a bold and unique sound. Blending aggressiveness and melody without losing intensity they have set the foundation for a new sound in metal.
Dream of Apathy is currently recording their long awaited 4-track EP Vengeance at Beat Records. With the expertise of Ben and Robbie they were able to capture the very essence of what they have always set out to achieve.
Through all the practice and preparation Dream of Apathy has begun to piece together a live show with an unrelenting energy that will be sure to smash skulls!
