Freethought: I am strongly Atheist, ie I believe the evidence for a 'God' is all but non-existent, and most if not all actual variations of the concept itself make no real sense.
Other Interests:
- totally into
Photography.
Also Cycling, Computers,
Travel - I have visited all seven continents.
Have been into Scuba Diving including underwater photography, but haven't done anything there for a few years. I tend to get into it for a year or two than get more interested in other things. I'm really only interested in trips to the better places like the Barrier Reef and such. I'm pretty bored with local weekend diving, so it's a matter of time/money priorities. When the alternative in recent years were trips thru China, Siberia, Russia, Central Asia, etc., - no-brainer, much more interesting to see someplace really different.
I'm really a pretty much a 'been there done that' sort of person about a lot of things. There has to be something particularly appealing about an activity or a place for me to want to keep going back - life is too short to 'waste' time doing the same thing over and over if there is some interesting alternative still not explored.
Current special places I would definitely re-visit: Yosemite Valley and Venice, Italy.People who can actually think about 'Life, the Universe, and Everything', and who know the guy who made that a prominent phrase..
The Simpsons, Futurama, Stargate SG-1
