About Me

Hi, I am the Chicago stand-up comedy scene as a whole. At any given time there are between 100-200 performers in me that can be seen at various venues all across the city every night of the week. Because the Chicago comedy scene is relatively small compared to New York and LA, the talent pool seems to be much deeper. Consequenty a good chunk of the regular performers are extremely entertaining to watch, even at open mics. Check out the calander to see whats going on tonight in your neck of the woods.

My Interests

Stand-up comedy, comedy, comedies, comedians, people slipping on ice.

I'd like to meet:

People who like to laugh and do not like throwing sharp things.

Music:

We listen to everything, but mostly comedy albums.

Movies:

Comedies. Except Tim Allen movies, that guy blows.

Television:

Family Guy, Simpsons, and things you probably aren't even hip enough to know exist.

Books:

The Onion, and other funny literature.

Heroes:

Carlin, Pryor, Kinison, Bruce, Kaufman, Diller, Rickles, Van Peebles, etc.

For anyone who thinks stand-up comedy is a dying art form I ask you to take a peek at our calandar. The is anywhere between 2 and 5 shows going on in the Chicago Metro area any given night of the week...
