Laura was born in Brighton and still lives in the vibrant and lively city by the sea where she is completing a Degree in Professional Musicianship at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music (BIMM).Laura has an enviable amount of experience as a session performer in a range of areas including studio work, TV work, stage and theatre. From working extensively in many bands, predominently Brighton based electronic outfit Alien 6, Laura is also an accomplished young writer and is now turning her attention to producing following many detailed sessions in the studio with Alien 6. Extensive training and experience has enabled her to build on her skills and attributes as a vocalist likened to Annie Lennox, Lauryn Hill and Sian Evans of Kosheen.Laura joied forrces with Brighton based production team Alien 6 Productions alongside Geoff Pinckney and Peter Steer in 2005 as principle lyricist and lead vocalist. So far Alien 6 has secured remix work and one of the first tracks created by the trio 'Love In Motion' is featured on Konami's Dance, Dance Revolution. Alien 6 now has a new member, Eddie C. He is an exciting new addition to the band and with him on board Alien 6 are sure to creep that little bit closer to great success this year!With high hopes of a commercial release Alien 6 are going from strength to strength with their cool, sassy, electronic style, which incorporates influences from funky house, disco house 80s electronica and soul.
