About Me

The Carolina Renaissance Festival is an unique and exciting special event located just 18 miles north of Charlotte, NC - nestled away on 60 wooded acres in Huntersville. The gorgeous outdoor setting is a wonderful way to spend the day with family and friends. The Carolina Renaissance Festival is several Festivals rolled into one. The 20 acre recreated Renaissance Village boast 10 stages of non-stop entertainment featuring music, dance, circus entertainment, and comedy for all ages. The villiage marketplace features over 100 artist, crafters, and vendors selling unique handcrafted items made right before your eyes such as custom made-to-order leather goods, blown glassware, and pottery. There are games and people powered rides. With giant smoked turkey legs, marinated steak-on-a-stake, roasted chicken, stews, ale, your favorite beer, wine, and much, much more...the Festival menu is truly a feast fit for a King! And remember, don't miss the Knights on horseback jousting in a tournament to the death. It's World Wrestling Entertainment on horseback! No where else in Charlotte can you find such unique entertainment, food, and gifts. The Carolina Renaissance Festival invites you to join in the revelry of its 15th season fall of 2008, Saturdays and Sundays, October 4th - November 16th.
